Ways of finding out

There are lots of different ways to find things out. You could:

  • talk to people in interviews
  • ask questions in questionnaires
  • take photographs
  • use video
  • watch and listen
  • look at other people’s work – for example, policies or plans.

In action research you might use several different ways of finding things out at different times. Your ways of finding things out might change as you work through the action research cycle. This is OK.
