Do research

Action research cycle

Our project showed that doing research can really make a difference. When you do action research you change things and try to make things better. Action research is a cycle that keeps things happening if you stick to the following steps:

  • Find out what could be better at school or college.
  • Do some planning to make things better.
  • Make things happen.
  • Check to see if those plans and ideas made a difference.

You may then have to make some more changes and try things out again.

If you would like to know more about doing research, go to the ‘Make a difference’ section.
